What is PEAK Room Codes?
PEAK is a co-op climbing game, and it's a lot more fun with a full group. This site is a community board where players post their room codes so others can find a climb in their region and language. It's fan-made and not affiliated with the developers of PEAK.
Unlike a plain list of codes, room codes here stay hidden. You ask to join, the host says yes, and only then is the code revealed to you. That keeps random people from dropping into a lobby the host wanted to keep friendly.
Hosting a room
- Create a lobby in PEAK and copy its room code.
- On the rooms page, press Host Room.
- Give the room a name and, optionally, a short description โ for example "First time, going slow" or "Speedrun attempts, know the route".
- Paste the room code and pick your region and language.
- Choose whether to auto-accept join requests. With it on, anyone who asks gets the code instantly. With it off, you approve each player yourself.
Manage your room from My Rooms: accept or reject requests, see how many players are in, and kick or ban anyone causing trouble. Kicked players can ask to join again; banned players can't.
Joining a room
- Use the Region and Language filters to find rooms that suit you.
- Press Join to read the room's details, then confirm your request.
- Wait for the host to accept. The page updates live โ no need to refresh. Rooms marked โก auto-accept show the code straight away.
- Once accepted, press Copy and enter the code in PEAK.
Room rules
- Rooms last 60 minutes. After that they disappear automatically, so the list only ever shows fresh lobbies. Host a new one if you're still playing.
- One room at a time. You can't host or join a second room while you're in one. Leave the first room (or close it, if you're the host) before moving on.
- If the host leaves, the player who joined earliest becomes the new host. If nobody else is in the room, it closes.
- Your nickname is saved in your browser. Change it any time with the โ๏ธ tab at the top of the page.
Tips for a better climb
- Pick your own region. Players far away from the host usually get more lag, which matters a lot on tricky climbs.
- Match the language. Calling out routes and saving a teammate is much easier when everyone understands each other.
- Say what kind of run it is. A one-line description ("chill", "new players welcome", "going for the summit") helps the right people find you and keeps everyone's expectations the same.
- Close your room when you're full or done. It keeps the list accurate and stops people requesting a lobby that no longer exists.
- Be kind to new climbers. Everyone falls off a cliff on their first run.
FAQ
Why can't I see the room code? Codes are revealed only after the host accepts you, or instantly for auto-accept rooms.
Why does it say I'm already in a room? You're still a member of another room. Leave or close it in My Rooms first.
Do I need an account? No. You only choose a nickname. See the privacy policy for what is stored.
